Les fermes en bois sont des structures de toiture fabriquées en usine et conçues sur mesure selon chaque projet. Elles sont réalisées en bois C24 et assemblées avec des plaques métalliques, garantissant solidité et précision.
Le prix dépend de plusieurs éléments : portée, pente du toit, débords, espacement, nombre de fermes et charges.Pour un devis précis, il faut fournir : adresse du projet, type de couverture, usage du bâtiment, date souhaitée et plans.
L’emplacement permet de calculer les charges de neige et de vent, qui varient selon les régions. Le type de couverture influence aussi le poids que la structure doit supporter.
Elles permettent de grandes portées (jusqu’à 35 m) sans murs porteurs, offrent une grande flexibilité de conception et sont rapides à installer.Fabriquées en usine, elles garantissent une qualité constante et une précision élevée.
Les fermes sont plus précises, plus rapides à installer et souvent plus économiques. Elles nécessitent moins de bois, tandis qu’une toiture en chevrons peut en consommer jusqu’à 30 % de plus.
Il est recommandé de commander dès le début du projet (par exemple au moment des fondations). En haute saison, les délais peuvent dépasser un mois.
La livraison peut être organisée par le client ou par l’entreprise. Sur chantier, les fermes sont généralement mises en place à l’aide d’une grue.
L’installation est rapide si l’équipe est expérimentée. Une grue est généralement nécessaire. Des partenaires peuvent être recommandés pour assurer la pose.
Le poids dépend de la taille. Par exemple, une ferme de 10 m de long et 2,7 m de haut pèse environ 75 kg.
